This section is designed to clarify the role of Wycombe councillors and Steve Baker MP and answer any questions you may have about their responsibilities and how they can help you.
Some issues might not be the direct responsibility of Parliament or Government and in these instances we advise you first contact either Buckinghamshire Council or your nearest Citizens Advice Bureau. These include but are not limited to:
- Council Tax
- Private problems with neighbours, landlords, employers, family
- Companies who’ve sold you faulty goods
- Decisions made by the courts
- Issues that are the responsibility of your Local Authority, e.g. dustbins or street repairs.
If your problem concerns the Local Authority you should contact your local councillor. Details of all councillors can be found on the Council’s website https://buckinghamshire.moderngov.co.uk/mgMemberIndex.aspx?bcr=1
