Conservative Future Chairman now heading Ox and Bucks CF

The Association is that Alexander Shayler, the current Chairman of Wycombe Conservative Future, has been elected as the Area Chairman of Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Conservative Future.Starting in his new position on the 4th of September, Alexander said "I am honoured to be elected to the position of Area Chairman in Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire.I would like to thank everyone at Wycombe Conservative Association who has supported me in establishing a very successful Wycombe Conservative Future branch.There is a lot of work to be done and I hope to bring the success from Wycombe Conservative Future to all constituencies in Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire” 

Cllr Maz Hussain organises repairs to fence

Cllr Maz Hussain has recently used his local ward budget to replace  fencing boards on the footpath between Hawksmoor Close and the railway bridge near Morrisons.  

Walk through the Gomm Valley

Local councillors Katrina Wood and David Shakespeare joined local protestors to walk through the Gomm Valley today.  Both councillors have publically stated their opposition to the plans to build houses and industrial units in the valley which is being considered as part of Wycombe District Council's obligation to consider new development in the district.  

Cllr Sanna Manir Marries

The Association wants to send its congratulations and best wishes to Cllr Sanna Manir who was married earlier today to Dr Nabeel Arshad. Several Association members and councillors travelled to Dudley for the celebrations.  The bride looked beautiful and everyone was delighted to share her happy day. 

Jacob Rees Mogg Political Supper

Jacob Rees Mogg MP was the guest speaker at our latest political supper.  The evening was a great success as those attending enjoyed a two course supper, followed by an excellent speech and Q&A session with Jacob - seen here with members of Wycombe Conservative Future.

Conservatives win Hambleden by-election

Conservative candidate Roger Metcalfe has won the Wycombe District Council by-election for the Hambleden ward.  He won 70% of the vote, comfortably defeating both UKIP and Labour.  The by-election was brought about by the sad death of Roger Emmett, and Mr Metcalfe paid tribute to Roger during his victory speech, praising the tremendous contribution he made to all those living within the Valley.
